How do I request a collection?

Is a collection unit full? It must then be collected and replaced with an empty receptacle so you can keep collecting batteries. The type of your collection receptacle determines the collection request process.

A collection receptacle with telemetry

Do you have a smart collection drum with a telemetry system? Then you no longer have to request collections yourself. This is almost always the case for schools and stores. When your receptacle is almost full, a collection is automatically scheduled for you. Our driver will pick up your full drum within five workdays and replace it with an empty one. So, you don’t have to worry about requesting collections on time!

A collection receptacle without telemetry

Do you have a collection drum without a telemetry system? Then you can easily submit a collection request by sending an email to collection@bebat.be or calling 0800/97.521.

Make sure you do so promptly before the collection drum fills up because it can take five workdays for our driver to stop by.

Are you a recycling centre?

As a recycling centre, you have collection drums without telemetry and ASP containers with telemetry.

Are your drums almost full? Then you can make a collection request by sending an email to collection@bebat.be or calling 0800/97.521. Make sure you do so promptly before the collection drums are full because it can take five workdays for our driver to stop by.

For your ASP container, you do not have to request collections. The smart telemetry system in the lid detects the filling degree. When your ASP container is almost full, a collection is automatically scheduled.
