Monthly declaration: from more than 10,000 batteries per year
Do you put more than 10,000 batteries per year on the Belgian market? If so, you are required to submit a monthly declaration to Bebat. Each declaration must be submitted by the last calendar day of the following month.
For home batteries and/or Energy Storage Systems (ESS), you are always required to submit a monthly declaration – regardless of the quantities you put on the market
Annual declaration: fewer than 10,000 batteries a year
Do you put fewer than 10,000 batteries per year on the Belgian market? If so, you can submit one declaration per year. This declaration must be submitted no later than 28 February of the following calendar year.
Home batteries and/or Energy Storage Systems (ESS) are an exception. As stated above, these must be declared monthly.
If you put fewer than 10,000 batteries per year on the market, you can still choose to submit a monthly declaration.
