Some Bebat collection receptacles have a ‘smart lid’ or telemetry system. This allows us to monitor the filling degree remotely. This is very convenient as you no longer have to request collections yourself! When the receptacles are (almost) full, we will automatically receive a collection request. We will then drop by to do a collection within a few workdays.
The telemetry system also acts as a built-in heat sensor. If the temperature in a container rises exceptionally quickly, an alarm signal sounds and a notification is sent to us immediately.
You can use MyBebat to monitor the status of your telemetry collection receptacles in real time. We describe the meaning of the different notifications below.
Filling degree
The telemetry system shows you a percentage for each receptacle, e.g. 25%. This is the filling degree. This percentage indicates how full your collection container is. A collection is automatically requested when a receptacle is almost full.
Connection
The telemetry system shows you a connection quality indication for each receptacle:
- Online
- Good
- Medium
- Bad
- Offline
Temperature
You can consult the telemetry system to check whether the measured temperature within a receptacle is acceptable. If the temperature in one of the receptacle rises exceptionally quickly, an alarm signal sounds and an automatic notification is sent to us. So, when necessary, this ensures we can contact you immediately to check the situation.
