Monthly and annual corrections

After you have submitted a declaration, you can correct it once, whether for a specific declaration period (monthly correction) or an entire year (annual correction or regularising declaration).

Monthly correction: correcting a submitted declaration

After you have submitted a declaration, you can correct it once.

Log in to MyBebat and go to ‘Declarations’ > ‘Correct'

You can now make changes in the same way as with the original declaration. All changes will be shown visually.

Annual correction or regularising declaration

As a Bebat participant, you have until the end of February to make any corrections to your declarations for the previous year. We call this a regularising declaration. This applies to both monthly and annual declarants

This works as follows:

  • We send an email every year as a reminder to carry out an annual correction.
  • This email contains an overview of the indicated number of batteries per type (portable, industrial and automotive) based on your 12 monthly declarations.
  • You can find the details for your total declaration figures per Bebat code via MyBebat in the column ‘Initial quantity’ in the correction declaration for the relevant year (such as 2024/Y).

If the total quantities per Bebat code are correct, you do not have to do anything. But if the quantities are not correct, you can submit the correct figures via MyBebat by means of a correction of the declaration for the year in question (such as 2024/Y).

Important: you do not indicate the specific correction, but the correct total quantities. We will then calculate the differences and send you an invoice or credit note.
