Manually correcting your submitted declaration

After you have submitted a declaration, you can correct it once.

  • Log in to MyBebat and go to ‘Declarations’.
  • Choose the declaration you want to correct. Now click ‘Correct’ via the ‘More’ icon  dots-vertical (3 dots) next to it. You can also open the declaration first and then navigate to ‘Correct’ via the ‘More’ icon dots-vertical.

You can now make changes in the same way as with the original declaration. The corrections are displayed visually in a separate line.

Adding a battery works as follows:

  • Click on the green ‘+ Add battery’ button at the top
  • Select the battery from the list of available batteries. At the top, you can filter and/or sort by Bebat code, category, IEC code, chemical family and more.
  • Click on the green ‘+’ button at the end of the row with the right battery

The battery will now be added. Is it the wrong battery? You can click on ‘Undo’ in the confirmation window that opens.

Correcting the number of pieces/weight/use of a battery

    • Click on the relevant row in the ‘Quantity’ column for the battery.
    • Enter the correct number on the correction line.

Make other necessary changes to battery variables, such as weight and use. You do this by clicking in the relevant column for the battery in the row and entering the correct values on the correction line.

    Duplicating or removing a battery

You can duplicate a battery by moving your mouse to the relevant row and right-clicking on the duplicate icon copy – the icon in the middle.

If you want to remove a battery from a declaration that has not yet been submitted, click on the rubbish bin icon trash  on the right – next to the duplicate icon.

    Removing all batteries

Do you want to remove all batteries from your correction? This can be done by clicking on ‘Remove all batteries’ in the menu icon at the top.

Your correction declaration will then be completely empty and you can start adding batteries again.

In addition to adding batteries manually, you can also add batteries via an import. Read more about this in the following article: Corrections through an import.

Is your correction complete? Then click on ‘Check & submit’ and submit your final revised declaration as described in Submitting your declaration.
