For extra security of your MyBebat account, you can enable two-step authentication. In addition to entering your username and password, there is an extra step during login to ensure that no one else can log into your account.
Here’s how to enable two-step authentication:
- Log in to MyBebat.
- Click on your name in the navigation bar on the left (at the very bottom).
- Go to 'Security & privacy'.
- In the 'Login & security' section, you will find the 'Two-step authentication' option.
Once enabled, logging into MyBebat will be done in two steps:
- You enter your username and password.
- You enter an additional verification code that you receive on your phone.
Note: Make sure you have set up a mobile phone number in your contact information that you always have access to, so you can receive the verification code during login.
Why do we recommend two-step authentication?
In your MyBebat account, you have access to potentially sensitive company information and can perform important actions regarding your battery declarations. With two-step authentication, you are better protected against unauthorized access. Even if someone knows your password, they will not be able to log in without the verification code.
